Musical Express is an independent local company, and as such is able to tailor the programme to suit the needs of each class.

What happens at a session?

Sessions are normally between 40 and 60 minutes (depending on the your child's age) with groups of between 10 and 15 children and their carers. Your children will be participating in active music-making; using singing, tuned and untuned percussion, rhythm games, musical stories, nursery rhymes and action songs.

Summer holiday classes new for 2009

• Classes will run from Mon 20 Jul – Fri 31 Jul inclusive.
• Under 2’s and over 2’s groups will run in the current format and at the current times.
• Drop-off music and craft classes for children aged 3 – 5 years (Nursery and Reception children).
• Drop-off classes will run from 2 – 4pm each afternoon.
• A different theme each day for all age groups, so your child can attend as many days in the week as you would like them to.
• All classes will be held at Southfields Methodist Church.
• Fees: under 2’s £6 per class, over 2’s £7 per class, drop-off classes £14 per 2 hour class. Sibling discount applies.
• Maximum of 15 children per class.
• Places allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.
• Book your place now by filling in both sides of the registration form and return it to Jenny or Ali at your class.
• No fees due until June 2009.
